![]() A decent pool on the 5th floor - nothing great, but not bad for a small tower in an Atlantic city hotel. Only eegs, bacon, suasage, and types of muffins, and dounuts. They have a very affordable breakfast buffet for 12.99, but it's just a basic buffet. Different, but nice change to the weekend. But they are newer and have a lot of options for Ocean View and even Ocean Frront. Our rooms are comped, so I don't know the price, but I'm guessing these rooms are likely cheaper. You need to walk through the parking garage and acrross the street each time, but all in all we felt it was worth it for the room. The downside is you are not in the Casino building and there are not internal walkways to get from one building to the other. It appears it is an older Hotel they recently purchased and upgraded. We actually received "ocean front" room which was perfect to see beach and Fireworks on Saturday night. There are many excellent hotels to choose from in Atlantic City, but the hotels that sit directly on the boardwalk include Ocean Casino Resort, Showboat, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Resorts Casino Hotel, Ballys Atlantic City, Caesars Atlantic City, and The Tropicana. When we arrived Late Friday night I was told "if I wanted an ocean view I would need to go to the Chelsea which was actually the newest tower." Well getting there was a little weird - you walk accross (stiil on ocean/boardwalk block) the street through a well lit parking garage with security present to get to Chelsea Counter to pick up keys. I'm a mid level rewards player at the Trop meaning I get Rooms whenever I want but sometimes the quality or view is not perfect and other times I get a decent room on a Saturday night. ![]()
